Not bad, was at Kmart Sunday and seen this deal...I bought the cable for $2.50...cheap stuff, but good for those who need it beginner equpitment

I agree, if you are serious about learning to play, go to a trusted music shop (slow nights are best) and have them explain the differences between different quality-levels of instruments.

Easiest way to turn a kid OFF of music is put a crappy guitar or other musical instrument in front of them. Nobody respects a $20 guitar, and it's going to sound about as musical as the Andrew Jackson and pocket change you drop on the counter.

Actually, my vote is with the sound of the quarters and dimes bouncing into the register.

Note that this is considered a "3/4 size" guitar at 37 inches in length.

Some of you are missing the point. Someone buying this is not looking for performance or an avid player. They're buying this because they've always wanted one and this is the cheapest option (or as a gift). So lighten up about the quality and let them enjoy the cheap guitar. Feel free to post a better deal.
