Is this a full size acoustic guitar? I thought first act was for kids?

Wonder if this drum set is the one Adam Levine practiced on hoping he could play with Pearl Jam while Matt Cameron was off with Sound Garden? Maybe Beiber can replace Eddie Vedder on vocals when he needs a night off?

TO LEARN OR NOT TO LEARN. I make music but I could use the $30 to finally get an XLR to USB adapter instead for my mic. WHAT DO AGGHHHH

Just picked mine up and the guitar size is pretty small. Smaller than my parlor size guitar. Also, snapped two high e-strings trying to tune. So this will be going back to the store.

For those of you considering picking up the keyboard.. you MIGHT want to consider these midi keyboards.

Spend a few extra bucks and get a M-Audio Keystation 32 for $40-50 bucks.

I got a guitar for Christmas about 50 years ago. I had no idea of what a guitar should be, and neither did my parents. They bought a cheap guitar for me and I tried to play it. It was unplayable but I didn't know that, and neither did they. It was discouraging. That situation happens all the time. At this point most people give up.

Do you children a favor. Do not buy these 1st act guitars. They are toys and will only discourage a kid that may really want to learn. You can buy a real guitar that will be decent for about $100. If they dont play it you can sell it on ebay for 50.

This is my opinion. I do not mean to discourage well meaning parents. My parent certainly meant the best for me.

My aunt and uncle bought my cousin a cheap set of drums and he is the drummer of a famous band so don't knock any musical instruments. Heck he started out drumming on soup cans.

BTW, I saw many positive and also negative (very negative) reviews for the guitar on Target and elsewhere. Just want to try it; I bought one anyway.... will determine if I want it or not at the store when I pick it up.

I purchased both of the electric and acoustic guitars for my kids before this last price cut. I think the electric guitar is a great buy for this price. It is nice for a child to learn with. I can hook it up to my amp and it sounds better than any under $100 guitar that I have heard.
The acoustic is not as nice. It is a good size for a child (maybe 3/4 size?). It stays tuned while playing and has projects the right amount of sound for child learning to play.
Even at the price I paid, I felt I got a good deal. Now if only I could get a price adjustment .
