It really is over night, and when I did it, a guy in a friggin Honda Civic delivered it! No joke!! Lol.

Have owned these for close to 2 years now. Modded them from the head-fi thread. Bass is a bit more pronounced and soundstage comes forward slightly. Using the velour pads from Beyerdynamic. Yeah, the top becomes uncomfortable after an hour so of use. But you can purchase a headband from Amazon [amazon.com] for 12 bucks to help.

Which is better, this or sennheiser HD 201?

Bought these from a deal a while back. Sound is awesome but I almost gave them away because they were so uncomfortable. I ended up leaving these wrapped over my desktop and using a heat gun on the headband. After the heat gun treatment they are a lot more comfortable and I use them daily sometimes for hours with no aches or pain!

FYI, sounds like the heat gun approach works...

Ok, so I had these for about a year. The sound is really good for the money, and I didn't find them really uncomfortable. After a few hours sometimes the pad on the top would start to get to me but I'd just shift them and be good.

The problem is that almost a year exactly after I bought them the plastic ball joints that the ear-cups mound with shattered. Then I really looked at them close for the first time in months and noticed small fractures in the plastic around the outside of the headband too. I won't say that I babied them, but I wasn't hard on them at all.
