I dont' think outlet new is same as new new. We got our mom this "new" from the outlet and the LCD lid has a slight ding on the plastic. Just cosmetic but we got a good deal. And she's fine with the small ding.

That's a good deal!

But it is outlet and not new. For some people that doesn't matter, but for some it does..tish tosh. It's like buying a new car or a better used car.

I don't think this deserves a thumbs down because ppl are comparing it to better configs in the outlet. Again, it's apples n oranges. Some ppl want a new car or a new laptop. For the price and it being new, it's pretty good.
