In regards to the "face product" Q, I have seen this debated both ways. Most couponers will interpret the face product Q as anything on the face which includes eyes and lips. Most cashiers will accept the Q after they verified that you have purchased a cosmetic item that applies to the face like an eyeshadow. I have already asked my manager at CVS and Rite Aid if I can use the $3 Q on the eyeshadow and they couldnt think of a reason as to why I couldnt use it. Ultimately, it is up to your store whether to accept the coupon or not.

Am I going crazy or are there 2 different Ads?! Erica from iheartcvs has an ad that is similar but not exactly the same. Hers has colgate single pack manual toothbrushes $2.99 + $2ECB limit 1 but I don't see it on this ad. Monthly deals has buy 2 colgate 360 clean tbs and get $3ECB. I was thinking buying 2 for $5.98 and get back $2 + $3 ECB (if they double dip)

Not trying to snark, but rather than fretting over what other people's potentially-regional ads have, why not check your own local ad at http://weeklyad.cvs.com to see what yours looks like? Just click on the "Upcoming Weekly Ad" tab - available at midnight local time every Thursday (i.e., Wednesday "night")...

thanks for the info. I haven't been keeping up with CVS as much. Are Ads typically regional? I thought they were typically the same which is why the differences stood out to me.

btw I wasn't fretting, but figured i'd ask here since the weekly breakdown was missing the colgate info (which seems like a good deal to me or a decent way to roll ECBs)

Nearly all CVS ads are regional - but to what extent differs from week to week. Occasionally they are wildly different in certain regions (usually that'll be when people complain that they got the "short ad"); but more often it'll just be an EB deal here or there that's missing for some folks, or different regional brands will count for different areas (like Hallmark vs. American Greetings). The reason I'll say that nearly ALL ads are regional though is that even when there isn't an EB deal that differs, items like milk, eggs, bread, etc., will always have different sale prices between different regions.

Good eye on the Colgate though. The toothbrush single pack is in my local ad too at $2.99 with $2 EBs, limit 2, in the same spot as Didie's 3/$3 Colgate Total toothpaste (the toothpaste is instead on my ad's front page, which is laid out totally differently from Didie's). Definitely a good idea for folks who don't have the Colgate single toothbrush in their ad to check for tags at the store, scan the toothbrushes for the $2.99 price, etc., before assuming that that deal is good for all.

Uh...wow. Just noticed that shom mentioned the Colgate single toothbrush being limit 1 in Erica's ad, and indeed it is; yet it's definitely limit 2 in mine (NC). Weird. So yeah, definitely check your local ad!

Mine also says limit 2. The ad also says buy Colgate manual toothbrush or toothpaste twin pack, get $2 ECB, limit 2. It's on the same page and same row as the $2.99 single pack toothbrush. Considering they are both Colgate and have the same ECB amount and limit, does it mean they are the same promo on Colgate?

Impossible to tell for sure without folks trying it out by buying it, but I would guess that it shouldn't be the same deal...I mean, the ad shows them as 2 separate deals (with different event codes too), so why would any average shopper assume that it's only one or the other? Guess we'll see though...

Speaking of regional ads, did anyone get 20% in-ad coupon to honor the Presidents?

I was purely curious. Not interested in getting the twin pack if single pack is cheaper and producing the same amount of ECB. But you made a point. They do have different event codes. So I guess they are two different sales.
