No, they don't do that. Never have, and I doubt they ever will ever since Amazon got a lot of unwanted attention for doing that themselves on the kindle.

At worst, once Apple removes it, you won't be able to re-download it in an iCloud restore, since it fetches apps from the App Store. It can't download what doesn't exist anymore.
But if you back it up to your computer/back your apps to iTunes, you'll have it forever, should you ever restore.

Well then an advantage of android is that it is possible to make your phone/device almost 100% google free.

Did someone uninstall the 'critical thinking' App from your brain?

Google (Android) and Amazon retain the ability to unilaterally uninstall apps and content from your device. And, they have actually done it in the past.

Apple does not uninstall apps or content from your device. Apple may remove Apps that violate its T&C from the App Store, but if you already have it on your device they won't do anything about that.

If you feel the need to respond to this, please include a documented example of Apple unilaterally removing an App from an iDevice without the owner's consent.
