picked one up. Just bought a 32gb one from Staples 3 days ago but i'll be returning that for $100 in savings. It's an excellent device and you won't be disappointed (assuming no defects).

color/clarity is what impressed me most and I look at Ultrasharps all day.

Does anyone know if squaretrade (or anyone else) sells warranties for refurbished tablets? I assumed squaretrade would, but it says new tablets only on the tablet page of their site. (I mostly want an extended warranty for the accidental damage protection...I would buy it for a new or refurb tablet, assuming the price was low enough with a coupon code).

Also, as far as the conversation above about expandable memory in the follow-up device to this...I doubt Google would go that route. They want people to use their cloud services. If the device had expandable memory, not only would it cost more to manufacture (and therefore cost more for consumers to buy), people would also have a much lesser need of cloud services.

But these are retailing for $199. And, as a proud owner of a Nexus 7 (32Gb) I am not sure I would want one that likely crapped out previously. Tech gadgets and baby car seats are best bought new!

For a new 32G around 230, I think it is an okay deal.
