Bestbuy Reward points, Facebook poll - New (02/07)

From my best guess, this is what is happening. My points were accumulating (purchases & poll 25 points) until the end of 2/5. My point total at the beginning of the day 2/6 was 69 points. Then, from 2/6 onwards, any poll points that I earned seemed to 'post' right after I did the poll (with the correct running total), but then it would disappear and my point total would go back to 69. This happened even after the CSR 'credited' me for missing poll points. So it was like no matter what I did, my account was frozen to what it had on 2/6. Then, voila, days after 2/7, I got a backdated post of 2/7 of -69 annual point expiration, bringing the grand total to 0. So it was like my account was frozen at the 2/6 point level so that the appropriate negative points could be taken off to make my acct 0.

(updated) The next day after the 'expiration of points' took my balance total to 0 (as of 2/7/13), all my accumulated points are now showing up and staying after I dic a poll. I had 369 points. It did not automatically generate a cert, but if you hit the 'issue cert' button, it will successfully issue a cert and deduct 250 points. I logged in and out, and my remainder points are still there. So it appears (to me) that your account will be 'frozen' until they apply the 'expiration of points' point removal, then it will correctly show your point total after your next point earning. Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I couldn't follow the various threads to understand what was happening.
