Forgive my ignorance but what's the difference between this manual slow cooker and if there is one, an automatic?
An automatic slow cooker has a semi-built-in timer, usually High for 4 or 6 hours, slow for 8 or 10 hours, or warm. After the 4/6/8/10 hours are over, the slow cooker will automatically switch to warm.
The manual, as you can see, stays on a setting until you change it.
Blah, my order was canceled to due to it being "out of stock" at a local store even though the website said it was in stock and let me place my order.
Same happened to me. I ordered it again from the same store just for curiosity. Guess what? Now it's ready for pick up. My guess is that some employee was too lazy to look for it and just cancelled the first ordered I placed.
