Did you load the mags to max? FTE and FTF problems with new guns can come from odd spring tension when new mags are loaded all the way up. Try loading only 10 if it's a 12 rnd mag, whatever. Exactly what happened with mine: FTF issues. Now they're gone.
Highly doubt it needs lube. Highly doubt you're limp wristing it. |

I would advise stripping it and thoroughly cleaning it. The weapon comes with a thick grease on it from the factory that may cause the jamming issues. Limp-wristing shouldn't be as much of an issue with an M&P. When you say they "didn't chamber properly", what exactly happened? Did the round fully eject and the next one not chamber, or was there a stovepipe or what?

Freddy vs Jason is on TV right now ). That will keep brass from going down your collar.

I think i am going to clean the gun tonight and go to the range tomorrow. I'll post pictures of any problems if it happens again. |

That first picture looks about right although i don't recall seeing the second cartridge under it like that but that doesn't mean it wasn't there as I didn't look that closely. I can't tell if thats a spent cartridge or not but the jammed cartridge sticking up was unused.

http://www.amazon.com/Kleenbore-G...eaning+kit But when i watched this video.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAUNGkhrSGw ....the guy had like 2 types of oil and a greese. All i had was the 1 oil that came with the kit. Plus he had a pick, mop, and fine cleaning tip tool all of which i didn't have. I'll stop by Cabelas tomorrow and pick some supplies up on my rounds to clean it better after i have come back from the range. |

If you can't find a pic set at Cabelas try Walmart or any drug store in the dental/toothbrush section. I bought our latest one from there. I'd also pick up a big bag of cloth patches to use instead of the little ones that come with the its. A mat is nice but not crucial.
As for the brass going everywhere, my compact would do that but the expert and tactical are pretty good about throwing it in the same area, they are all .45s. My .454 Casull goes all over, I have to chase them does to get the brass back to reload it, as do the shotguns. The SCARs put it in a nice neat pile to police. It just depends on the weapon and weather conditions. |

A silicone cloth is a must, they're great for wiping down the outside to get off fingerprints after handling the gun. OK, that sounded a bit weird, oils from your skin can cause the metal to rust, that's what I meant about fingerprints. Cleaning mats are real nice but a newspaper will work. For patches, I just cut up old t-shirts and underwear. Of course I do violate one of the rules of being a gun enthusiast. I should be spending more time cleaning my guns, than myself. ![]() Good to hear the range trip went well. |
