Roku's do not come with an HDMI cable even new, unless its a special bundle. They come with A/V cables.

The price has been $59.99 for a while, and it seems inventory comes and goes. I purchased a few weeks ago at that price and received a unit that seemed in pretty good shape, but the remote was DOA. Ben's wouldn't send me a replacement unit either. My options were 1) return unit for full refund but at my cost for shipment or 2) accept a $10 credit. I could have taken option #2 had I at least had a means to initially connect and configure the unit so that I could use either a universal-smart remote or the app, but I couldn't get to that point.

If I was to do it all over, I would have purchased through a different company and paid a higher price.

Thanks for the feedback, it's important to know how they deal with customer service issues after the fact.

I got a refurbished Roku from a previous deal. The actual unit was new, but the remote and cables were obviously used (the remote was scratched up and the wires twisted), but it works great!
