That's a valid point, but I suspect most people spending the time to earn these 12 cents of BB credit aren't mindlessly doing something else simultaneously. There are people who will actually dedicate 2-3 minutes to earning these points.

They were just examples of alternative activities, and I was using an hour as a composite of the time you might spend over a year of doing this type of redemption. More power to ya if it's worth the return. I'm not judging what your time is worth; I'm just pointing out the trade off. Some people overlook.
