I wouldn't call it a great price, but it is a good one. It's only $1-2 cheaper than the regular price at coolstuffinc and a couple other online stores, but free shipping does sweeten the deal for anyone already looking to get it.

After finally opening and playing Castle Ravenloft with some friends last week, I had no problems ordering this 2 days ago at this price. A $40 BestBuy gift card burning a hole in my pocket didn't hurt either (converted it to Amazon gift card. Really sucks that Amazon charges tax now. I guess it's only fair the government gets a cut though, after everything they did to help Amazon build itself up.

20% off the going rate shipped seems like a pretty good deal to me. That is why I posted it. Whether its a good deal because of price or shipping really doesn't matter.

I just can't play anything D&D themed anymore since our entire party was killed . . . by kobolds . . . because our DM let his girlfriend run the game . . .

• The taxes Amazon charges are sales taxes. These are raised by the state that the Amazon warehouse/shipping facility is located. They have nothing to do with the federal government or Obama. • Amazon is now actively pushing for sales taxes to be charged on all internet sales, reversing a previous position. This is so that they can make everyone pay taxes (leveling the playing field) while they can compete on their coming "one-day" shipping capability. • Increased use of sales taxes (which hurt people making less that $75,000 more than those making over this point) is a policy position of the Republican Party, as is the cutting of investment, income, and corporate taxes. |
