I have been shopping around for a dock that would mount 2 drives at the same time. I would like to hear opinions as well. I don't really need it to duplicate drives or anything, but that might be handy down the road sometime. Newegg had a good deal on one, at one point, but I didn't grab it before the price went up.

did some quick searches at work. did not find anything about support for larger hard drives (3tb+).
i believe not all docks/enclosures are abe to support 3tb+ so that could be a potential dealbreaker |

My experience with docks is different. I have an older Kingwin ez-dock that doesn't recognize anything over 2 TB. If I place the same drive in a newer enclosure, Windows 7/8 recognizes the whole capacity. With both using the same USB port, software, etc. Last edited by RandomDealz; 02-07-2013 at 01:10 PM.. |

I looked around and couldn't find anything either, not even on their website. I do know from doing previous research, some docks won't recognize drives over 2TB, no matter how they are partitioned, or formatted. |

I am assuming you can clone drives with different size capacity right? i.e. if the drive to copy from is 256GB and the destination drive is 750GB. It just means it will extend the free space?
