I've never used a split keyboard, but would like an ergonomic one like this. Is it hard to get used to this keyboard? Also, I type ~85 words per minute and I don't want that count going down.

For typing this is fine as long as you use strictly home row key typing. I would not use this for gaming because the traverse of the left hand to the right side of the keyboard would be awkward. Other than that the comfort level is pretty good. The wrists feel pretty natural and there's an attachment that goes beneath if you need it higher. |

I touch-typed so I shouldn't have an issue. I plan to buy and use this keyboard for work and not at home. I wonder if using an ergonomic keyboard at work and basic laptop keyboard at home will mess me up. Tofu Vic |

I think it makes you type faster and it's much more comfortable.
