They seem to be next to Skype for VoIP [source [appforpcs.com]]. I registered with them last Mother's day and the customer support is extremely prompt with users. They were surprisingly good and they were very knowledgeable. I was simple impressed. There rates are very competitive although there are cheap alternatives that I have used in past such as India LD but Rebtel has apps which helps me save daytime minutes.

I just signed up, and the offer money is valid until march 2014.

Last time it worked with google voice. No cancelation and nothing.

Almost pulled the trigger on this until I saw the Terms and Conditions: "This offer is only valid for NEW Rebtel users" (see full details below). I've been using their service for a couple years now. So far so good! Calling some countries are a few cents cheaper than Skype.

I forgot what I did last time but dont you really need promo code to receive $30 credit?

I have been using Rebtel for 4 years now and everything has gone well with excellent call quality and never any billing/credit issues. They offer very good service at a excellent price. I like that they assign a local number for the dialout, so never any long distance charges.

There was a workaround to use Google Voice to register a new number as Rebtel only cares about phone numbers. Moreover, the app does not care what phone you install it on. If you dial using wifi/3G you can run it from any phone and login with any Rebtel account.
