AMAZON Prime - Leatherman 830850 Skeletool CX Multitool $52.89 LOWERED!

Ugh, I have wanted this exact one for a while! Trying to justify $55 for a multitool...

Looks nice, but $55 is hard to justify. 25 year warranty, maybe that's the justification.

Once you own a genuine Letherman multitool you realize there is a huge difference in quality that justifies the price. good deal.

I saw it on amazon this morning and passed. Thanks to you I couldn't help myself the second go around.

This is so true. I only have 2 multi-tools that have lasted me in my life and they are both Leatherman. The original Leatherman that I have has been abused and left in salty tackle boxes only to be revived by a little WD-40 and maintenance.

The Leatherman Skeletool CX goes everywhere with me. I missplaced it for 2 weeks in the crack of my car seat and I felt vulnerable and naked that whole fortnight
Everyone in my office floor tries to borrow it whenever they need a tool.

I would have a hard time justifying this purchase at full price when the non CX version is about as good (just a lesser blade and no CF inlay). But at $55, this thing is a good deal.

Can anybody tell me the length of the knife blade? It looks like ~3", which would work for my needs.

I'm on the fence. I'd like to carry a little more than a knife without taking my full-size Leatherman Wave on days I'm just sitting at the office. It's a good deal, I'm just trying to decide among the many things I could be spending money on right now :-)
