Not sure if you are trolling but as a parent who has 3 kids who LOVE the game, your description could not be more wrong.

1) $10 for a toy that can be played with a game AND outside the game is cheap.
2) If hitting "A" is all you did, you are playing it wrong.
3) The figures have full RPG style upgrade paths, every figure has different abilities and the data is stored to the figure itself which allows playing across multiple games.

Very cool tech and a pretty good game.

When I was a kid, GI Joe figures were, what, $2.99? Now basic toys are $10+ a pop. I know, I know, inflation, etc. But still.. it's kind of crappy.

you can easily make $$ re-selling these.especially when it comes to the rare/variants only certain stores carry.

The availability of these is getting better, so, generally I agree, but they're still going to go for above MSRP for another few weeks (which is why I'll give the money to the gas station to keep checking the local stores).

For some reason, I don't feel like getting these. Skylanders are becoming a fad in my house.....

The Giants are kind of sluggish in game so I would still rather use other characters with +5 speed boost. Only 1 giant is required to interact with certain in game objects and avoid needing bombs to open doorways.
