So tired of stressing over this. I just bit the bullet and bought both for $52 on ebay free shipping. Yes I paid $20 more, but it's well worth it since my kids love these figures, and there is always a premium for early buyers. I'll just go out to lunch one fewer day this week, and that's my $20 saved.

I'm missing only Thumpback...also been searching high & low for the Dragon's Peak & Darklight Crypt Adventure Packs from the first game (only just joined the Skylanders party Christmas last year)...wouldn't say I'm "stressed", but it does upset me how much resellers are charging for these! I just picked up Dragon's Peak this weekend at Wal-Mart. There were several in stock at one Wal-Mart I went to. Thumpbacks were plentiful as well.

I saw Darklight Crypt about a month ago at ToysRus, but didn't buy it. Boy am I regretting it. We went with the Pirate of the Seas and a 3-pack. Talk about terrible decisions. At least I was lucky enough for them to still have Boomer when I went back.

I don't know if they are still releasing Darklight Crypt. Last thread here was from October or November, so it has been a while. Whamshell is the only other one I'm missing that I'm having a hard time finding at a reasonable price (that is playable on the original game). I want every character, but don't plan on worrying about having both series.

I saw both at 2 different Wal-Marts and a Gamestop on Sunday. They weren't hard to find.

The guy at Gamestop also said they were getting another shipment in a week.

Was able to get on this about 30 minutes ago.
States will be back in stock Feb 15th.
Bought both the whale and the eyeball.
Gonna have some happy kids.
