Thanks for your post. I have found "drugstore" hairdryers like Revlon and Conair aren't good. But I agree, you don't have to spend a fortune for a good one.

I have an FHI hairdryer that I love. But unfortunately the coolshot button won't shut off all the time, so I have to play with it to get heat.

TJ Maxx and Marshalls sometimes have good hairdryers at great prices. Since I need a new hairdryer, I'm going to check them out.

This deal for the Sedu isn't bad per se, but I don't want to have to pay to ship an older dryer in to get the $40 off. Also, the Sedu is 1600w and I'm not sure that's strong enough for my thick wavy hair.

gives you shipping label but not free postage for the old dryer.. that knocks it down a bit.

Ordered one... I don't hate my current dryer, but I think it is safe to assume this one will be better.

Is this worth upgrading from a Super Solano X? That is what my wife currently uses.
