Probably the old version. On specs at the bottom, system memory is 512M. New model has 1G of system ram. Also new enhanced model has rated battery life of 9 hours. This one, according to the description, only has 8 hours (old version spec).

it lists the items condition as 5 - visible scratches/shows signs of use.

as for me, I would rather pick one up locally from CL, so I could see the condition of the item for the same price

on the other note - Microcenter always have them in Open Box with available warranty, but prices start at over 120 usually.

*but*, Cowboom has no questions asked, prepaid returns (30 days). So it's no big deal if it doesn't meet your expectations, for whatever reasons. That's why if you're at all interested, it's foolish not to at least give it a look. No harm, no foul.

I bought one from cowboom last year for $101 shipped. I think it was a 5. I looked it over very well and I only noticed a minor scuff spot on the edge of the screen that I had no concerns over at all. Most people would have thought it was brand new. I have young kids so I wanted a cheap tablet just in case it gets some serious damage. We use the tablet very regularly and I do not have any case or cover for it.

Now days there are a lot of good selections for tablets in the 80-150 range so keep in mind a used tablet's battery will not last forever. You may want to purchase one new.

I might be in the market for an upgrade if this hits the $50-$60 range I am still keeping my nook color until then.
