10 Pack of AMC Gold Movie Tickets are available on Costco online for $71.99 (Shipping & Handling included) for Members. In my case tax wasn't charged. Limit of Two 10 packs per household. Through 2/10/13 while supplies last

Non-member price slightly higher

I worked for that company (AMC) for 10 years. The Gold Ticket covers any movie regardless of release date and the Silver Ticket covers any movie outside of 2 weeks of release (this can be increased by a few movies such as Star Wars). The theatres call them "Special Engagements" and it is noted on their movie times.

This should cover any non special movie I.E Imax / 3D. You pay the upcharge to see those types of films, and it can be "calculated" by looking at their IMAX adult price and subtracting the regular adult price and etc.

More expensive than last year, but still a decent deal even with the non-member surcharge. Thanks!

But there is a limit on up to how much it will cover, right? I think it is $12 dollars, so after $12 you would need to pay the difference, right? I think they use that limit if you are buying like an IMAX ticket and since it is more expensive you pay the extra charge. Someone here should know how it works.
My local AMC is $12.50 and I have never had to pay the 50 cents.

This is a awesome deal for movie goers. Not as cheap as last year, but at $7.19 per ticket in reality its only about about a $1 more per ticket that the price last year. Still much cheaper than the $11-13 a ticket you'd pay to go to the movies here in the Wash DC area.

Ive bought these for 2-3 Years and have never seen them that low. I've seen silvers possibly that low but golds are at least $7-8 a pop

I think they were $4 each last year from startup promos like saveology type company. You were usually limited to 1-2 tickets.

How much of a savings is this compared to regular movie tickets?
If you live in NY, its a HUGE discount; $7 a ticket is less than half the price of a normal ticket in Manhattan.
The only problem with these is that they have to be presented at the box office where you have to wait in line and there's the risk of the movie being sold out (as opposed to Fandango).
