Got in on this from the $10 deal last year, came in the same bulk packaging with a sealed pair of batteries. Only tested it out once when I first got it and haven't touched it since. Had a problem with it staying connected to a couple machines (Mac mini and Macbook Air) running OS X Lion, seemed to have less connection problems on Windows 7 64 machines (Thinkpad T510 and Thinkpad X301), lost interest before trying it out on a PS3 or other kinds of devices. The connection drops probably could've been avoided or fixed but I didn't care to investigate further. When I was able to use it, it was great. Smooth, clean and accurate, better than 50% of mice I've bought.

I bought 3 of these for $5 each during last woot sale. Here is my unbias review:
- Looks very generic, easy to remove top to put in 2 AA battery - Connects to laptop bluetooth easily - fairly comfortable (nothing compare to Microsoft mouse though) Huge Cons: - Loses connection after every notebook hibernate, - Need to replace battery every few days since it's always on unless you remember to turn it off. Uses a lot battery compare to mouse with receivers, probably due to bluetooth. It's a shame it's not rechargable. Do not recommend. I bought it because I don't want to remember the dongle, but MS mouse is superior in every way. |

And if I remember right it wasn't FP when it on sale for $5 ..I wonder Tanga.com has some influence on this FP. Bingo to both posts. Most commenters have the unpairing/sudden sleep issues, but this junk still hits FP. |

I bought 3 of these off of woot for about $20 total to use with my x120e. They are completely terrible. They go to sleep really fast and the wakeup time takes forever. It could be my laptop, but they all acted the same. Its a shame, I like the super simple look.
edit: lol, I didn't even see the post above mine when posting this and they start exactly the same... so weird. Last edited by erthian; 02-08-2013 at 11:54 PM.. |
