Amazon has the LEGO Creator 10224 Town Hall for $154.39. Great price on this set and couldn’t resist biting on it.

EDIT - looks like this option is sold out now ----> USA Supply Choice (an Amazon 3rd-party seller) is selling it for $151.38 w/ FS. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-li...dition=new

I personally chose Amazon for $3 more for Prime Shipping and peace of mind.

Correction: Lego previous similar modulars set was $149. This set is $199. So a $50 increase compare to other similar old modulars set.

For this price, it is about 21% off the increased Lego price but few dollar more than the previous similar modulars set. And this set has 2766 pieces. So about 17.5 pieces per dollar. The price per piece is decent for the sale price.

I think I may have misunderstand some of the review for this set on another site. A quick google of Lego 10224 review, one site said something about increased by $50. That could means compare to previous release of similar size Modular Buildings.

This is not a City set - it is a Modular Building (Advanced). This is not for young kids - it is for older kids to adults. Is there even a City set that has over 2700 pieces?

Town Hall rarely goes on sale, this is the first deal ive seen since christmas. Could have been had for 144.99 with the amz visa cc just before christmas. Normal pricing for walmart/target/amz is 179.99.On a side note the yet to be released palace cinema looks pretty sweet with an MSRP of $149.99.
