People think refurbished means used. Most of the time products with special packaging are sent back to the manufacturer and repackaged in white box. This happens all the time with items like this. They could have come from bundled phone offers, store promos, or custom packaging. It's common practice.

Hands down best BT on the market, IMHO. I've tried at least 20-30 different models, literally (I have a friend who owns a cell phone store and lets me try them all out), and I've found this to be the best for my needs. I'm on my 3rd one - lost the 1st one, washed the 2nd one (still worked by the volume was lowered significantly), and I bought a 3rd without hesitation.

given how many items are simply returned and sent out again by Newegg, Amazon, Best Buy, etc., i'd rather have a refurb in some cases. in any case Jawbone, and many other manufacturers, do a very good job refurbing their products, and many times they're like new or better. and to echo jleonard711, these are very good units and the best i've used so far. i a'b'd them with the previous model, which was pretty good, and the sound on the HD is fuller, louder and more present. just my 2c. ear wax notwithstanding.

The comments here talked me into been really needing a new bluetooth headset, dog ate the last one. Just been looking for something that look unappetizing to my puppy

I have used this same model for the last year and prior to getting it I would have never used a bluetooth earbud.

Long battery life on a charge, clear and relatively precise warnings about battery getting low and excellent sound.

Also the range is outstanding. I have had a few stereo bluetooth receivers and tried a few other earbud types and from my bedroom they all completely disconnect by the time I get near my kitchen (about 20 feet). The ICON not only stays connected but never even skips on the sound.

Regardless if you get this sale, if you want a good bluetooth plug pick up one of these... the little cheapo models don't even compare. (Sorry to sound like an advertisement, but it is something I use most days and before falling asleep for music/Youtube).

Ummmm . . . I'm pretty sure they CLEANED the headphones before shipping them out to customers. You're more likely to get a disease by sticking your own finger in your ear. (Fun fact: did you know the average dishrag has more fecal matter on it than most toilet seats? Or that your cutting board is probably one of the dirtiest items in your house?)

Thanks... didn't really need one, but got it! My bro talked to me on his Jawbone a couple years ago while running a backpack leaf blower. I honestly didn't hear it at all. Was amazing! So I'm giving it a go myself. Thanks OP!
