Sodastream syrups reg $4.99 sale $1.46 when you buy 3 Sears B&M

If your bottle was deformed by extreme heat, not surprised it failed. Did the bottle shatter at all--ie did pieces break off and fly outwards?

Is there a current slickdeal on the machines? I bought six bottles in anticipation of getting the machine.

maybe the new one is a bit easier and quicker by the looks, not that the original was time consuming or anything but I'll tell you, i never use it anymore, it's so much quicker and easier and most importantly, less messy to just grab a can from the fridge.

Soda stream is a exercise in futility because if you aren't lighting fast between pouring in the syrup and feverously screwing on the cap you end up with a wonderful sticky mess spraying all over the kitchen. It's simply a bad design that is completly dependnt on how fast you can screw on the cap after dumping in the syrup because if you mess up once it's a friggen disaster....and yes, the grape and orange stain like a mofo, dont even think for a second you could let the kids use this.

That's your opinion--I've found a method that works for me, and results in zero mess. Rolling it is still shaking it. The instructions provided by sodastream are certainly open to interpretation. At the very least, I've guaranteed myself a better mix than you--with no ill effects.

You mean you printed the picture of the newspaper ad and they accepted that?

Has anybody found a reliable tank adapter for under 50-60 bucks?

Yeah, that's what I was wondering--is there an online coupon somewhere, or did he print something out from the weekly circular?
