Hey, Sony and EA... Regarding PS4...

I don't care about improved media hub functionality. I don't need no zombie biometric controllers. I don't want to download games from "the cloud".

All I want is the version of Madden we were promised eight years ago:

Instead, we'll probably get a version that's inferior to all of the awful versions that have plagued the 360/PS3 over the past 7+ years.

Just like the PS4 will be the first console in history to be technically inferior to its predecessor.

no fancy proprietary cell processor anymore. Just some generic off the shelf AMD processor?

in any case we'll know this in 10 days. Though I don't see myself getting one until at least 2 years later (just got a super slim PS3), I'm still excited to see the next gen consoles.

Not to mention it's not the shape of the boat but the motion of the ocean.

I agree in that it isn't worth the R&D costs for a special chip. Might as well take the best chip out and code to it.

Agreed, the so called amazing power of the cell processor created a several year gap of nothing before anything good could actually be made. Off the shelf parts should make things cheaper and easier to build for.

I am all for easy ports and faster releases.

SMH... what? the best rumor thus far, is the CPU and GPU rumor of the ps4. Blows the cell and RSX out of the water... and if current rumors are true, it will have more horsies then the 720. So glad they did this... this will finally cure third party parity within ports, and still have mucsle to make the sony in house exclusives top tier again.
