I have a lot of gift cards saved up from Bing Rewards (as much as 80$ worth) and as such I really want a deal from Amazon. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't pop up often with deals like NewEgg or TigerDirect do so I'm wondering if these current deals are okay:
The three main question for this are which is a better performing card at 100$ the GTX 650 or the HD 7770? And is the 650 TI worth the extra 40$ for performance? Last, does Amazon do deals often enough that I should wait for one?
Since it may be important to know to answer the second question I have for an AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0 GHz processor and 6 GB of RAM.
Thanks that looks like a great price, but the 20$ rebate might not matter in the end if it takes that long to ship which without wouldn't be worth it. And you sure my CPU won't be bottle-necking the 650 TI in comparison to the 7770?
EDIT: Found another version of theEVGA GTX 650 TI[amazon.com] which is 7$ more pre-rebate and 2$ after. It has a clock of 1071MHz versus the other's 928MHz. Is it something I should pay for or is it something I could do easily with the overclocking software it comes with? (I don't know if Nvidia cards come with overclocking software, though AMD's Catalyst software has it built in.)
