This cable is Apple MFI Certified. Will work as good as original. [Exception: they do not pass audio, like the originals do. Confirmed with Monoprice Customer Service.)

Doesn't say whether it will pass audio like the Apple cable does. That, I have found, has been consistant with all 3rd party lightning cables. They charge and synch, but I can't use them with my home or car audio (stream Pandora, etc.). I chatted with a Monoprice rep and he didn't know if it does or not. They are looking into it and supposed to get back to me via email. I'll post their answer.

someone who bought these kindly post a review here please for others...not sure using third fourth fifth party cables on iPh 5 is a good idea...4s took the abuse from cheap cables pretty well thou.

Im holding out for a charging dock. Preferably with a good speaker system by bose or logitech. Its been 6 months since the lightning connection came out. Where are all the docking stations, sheesh.
