what is a "new return"?

Seems like a good deal. I hope the knife is in good condition. For <50% new, I'm hoping it'll be good.

"New return" means that the items were shipped out, were opened and get returned. You may not get the original manufacturer's packaging. I've ordered a bunch of "new return" chairs and they are brand new with all the tags on them. I also ordered 2 expensive piece of office desk/cabinet and they do look brand new. There was a scratch on one of them but it was probably due to shipping. As far as the chairs I bought, I think they tried to get rid of some new stocks but the manufacturer's wouldn't allow them to sell those at discount prices. So far, I bought about 10 items which were labeled as "new return" and none of them had any signs of usage.
