I was about to get in on this because my 5 year old Dewalt 18V XRP Hammerdrill is shot.
I haven't researched their tools lately, but reviews on Dewalt's site for this unit seem poor (2 stars out of 5): Cordless Hammerdrill Reviews [dewalt.com] It also appears that the newest and most capable tool is the 20V MAX Lithium Ion which have superior reviews to this model. Since I normally like to keep consistency between my batteries, I am going to keep an eye open for the 20V kits and do a little more research. Last edited by TheMaster; 02-09-2013 at 05:53 AM.. BTW, it was only the compact Li batteries, not the XRP's. Still a good price point though to be sure. Yea, looks dead now.
