Walgreens 2/24 - 3/2 deals

Since I don't think that there is anything wrong with using an IVC and MQ, I don't think that it matters if LP is watching me. I see rumors go around all of the drugstore threads about all of the reasons that cashiers can be fired (allowing overage at RA or Wags, allowing you to go negative into tax at CVS and on and on) yet I have never had an issue with any of my regular cashiers (they are all still there) or LP and these things happen all the time. I would think that even if they just got a warning, my regulars that I am friendly with would tell me so that I could watch for it, because of course I wouldn't want any of them to get in trouble. I just think that we should be careful about assuming that if a cashier lets a small amount of overage go through that they are going to be fired.

I asked DH if a cashier at any of the stores he has ever been at have ever been fired for this (he has been a mgr with the company for over 7 years) and he said no......

What is Suavitel, fabric softner? I can't use fabric softner on the clothes as it ruins them over time, but if it is detergent then I could stock up. I bought more Tide tonight and forgot to even look at that Suavitel.


Finally made it though 17 of the $5 off $20 and am done till Saturday DD if there is anything good that I have coupons for.

I bought a bunch of those Scent Bead candles in the Lemon scent, because they smell good and I had to burn the $5/20. For those that buy these regularly is 33% off really a good stock up price? I thougth $10.04 still seemed steep for the large candle, but DH loved the smell of the Lemon as he kept sniffing it and I needed to spend to get home. Hope they smell that good when they burn.

Don't make the mistake I did and let them void a transaction where you used points or you lose the points. I tried to stop her and just have her fix the mistake with just a few of the items on my receipt, but she voided it already. If the store knows what to do they can fix it, but the store I was in the lead who was on duty doesn't understand she has to fix it, and calling the points center is not what they want the customer to do unless it is missing points related, not redeemed points lost due to void. The lead also thought I was worrying for nothing and my points would show up later when the void cleared, but I knew they were gone. Good thing I only redeemed 5000 points and not 40,000 or I might be quite upset.

So I called balance rewards and the points lady is going to call the store and tell the lead how to do it right and either have them give me a gift card or add the points back on. I told her the lead was nice so please don't tell her I am complaining I just know she doesn't understand. The supervisor is the one who wants to call as she said they have to educate the stores so this quits happening to people and she knows I am not complaining and will let the lead know. She said when we redeem points the store gets credit for them like money and it is like the store kept $5 of mine and they owed it back to me. She said they have no way to get the points back from the store or the money, so that is why the store has to fix it. What a pita. Point redemtion and voids do not work. I still don't understand why they can't connect the system to unredeem the points when a void is done, but the points lady said voids have nothing to do with them. Who knows maybe they will fix it in the future.

I am missing aomething. I accidentally redeemed 40000 points on a 40 transaction last week. Realized what i did and they voided it and i redid it. My points were / are fine. I didnt lose anything?

There is a pretty good deal on the L'oreal BB Cream this week. They are 10.99 and B1G1 50& off. There is a $3 WAGS coupon in the March coupon booklet and $3 mfq coupons in the 1/6 RP. This makes it $4.49 for two which is a pretty good price for this product. Oh and did I tell you ladies, it is awesome!

Does it have a strong scent? I have to use a lotion daily. At this price, I would try it.

I have also had a post void done where I had redeemed points and I got my points back automatically . It did take till the next day though.

No, no scent at all. It is one of the best BB creams I have tried. It isn't heavy or greasy feeling at all. I don't like wearing foundation because it is too heavy. This comes out a white/grey color but don't be alarmed as soon as you put on your skin it turns to skin color. Very weird but it works!
