Neato XV-14 Robotic All-Floor Vacuum @ Costco B&M for $199

Pulled off the shelves and unsellable at Central California stores today-Reason unknown.

For anyone around NYC, these are available at the Lawrence, NY location. There's no instant rebate listed on the price tag but it comes up at the register. They had ~15 more there this morning.

Well, it's not stocked at my local store; they've just got the Pet Roomba 595.

And it's $279.99 online so... I guess I'll have to wait it out.

Any one got one from DFW. $200 for this or $250 for Rooomba 630.

Called a couple nearest stores and none have it in stock and some say it's been deleted from the system.

There were a bunch of these at Costco yesterday so my wife and I decided to try one out. We have an old crappy vacuum that sufficed in our 1 bedroom apartment but we just moved to a house and was hoping to supplement our vacuuming with a Neato.

We ran it last night for the first time. I was impressed with the amount of hair and dust that it picked up. We were not impressed with how it operated on hardwood floor, it left a lot of little things on hardwood that were easily visible. We also woke up to what seem like really random lines in our living room in the carpet. We'll give it a week or two to redeem itself, otherwise we'll probably return it and get a nicer vacuum.
