I always think that too when I purchase my medicine, however I have had a few pharmacist tell me that not all ingredients are the same sometimes. Well yes it is the same ingredients, I did not know I had to explain but to put it simply: They my be the same ingredients and in the same amounts, but the formulation is different, so how it's effect and how it is absorbed by ones body changes as well.

Absolutely equal active ingredients. Name brand OTC medications are generally not slickdeals since there are so many excellent alternatives. But spend your money on Bayer if you want. I ordered some Kirkland's w/ reps to the poster who shared that info.
