Lenovo Ideapad z575 won't connect to wifi
i've tried all the "fixes" from Lenovo support site-still can't get wifi to connect......any ideas ??? Got the factory refurb form slickdeals a couple of weeks ago-good computer when connected to ethernet but i need my wifi!Any help is appreciated. |

You need to provide some more information.
Does the machine detect WiFi Networks? Do you get errors when you try to connect? Have you tried to connect to more than one network? Can other devices connect to the network you're trying to connect to? Are you using a Lenovo (or other) utility to manage WiFi connections or just Windows itself? Are you using the latest driver? |

we updated the drivers, made sure the wireless card is on, we use wpa-personal with tkip with a linksys n router- computer has windows 7 32 bit home premium not sure what you mean about wireless encryption? do you mean security? if so, yes its a secured wifi |

might be the router
turn off security on the router,reset router |

Look in the event viewer for errors and list them here.

+1 on at least unplug and reboot router.... check DHCP that enough leases are available

also happening on my z575 just last week.
Can see wifi network, but cannot connect. |

NM-the computer was stolen from my car:(
 -i wasn't happy as you can imagine. But at least i never did get the wifi to work.Thanks everyone for all your helpful suggestions. |

WiFi problems seem to be very common with Lenovo laptops...

As we speak, I'm typing on a Lenovo AIO, and it has never had any wifi issues either. I've owned a Lenovo S103t touchscreen laptop, that also had no wifi issues. In short, I've dealt with hundreds of Lenovo laptops, without one single wifi incident. |
