I picked up the 82 piece set over the 65 based mostly on my usual usage. I like the 6 point sockets better, but don't mind the 12 point and the 82 set have a wider range of sizes. I don't tend to use the deep sockets all that often. Added a filler but had to use the VALPACK5 coupon instead since for some reason it wasn't letting me use the SEARS2013.

I also picked up the larger 1/2" set (broken into a separate order). Not sure if I'll keep it since it was a bit pricey and usually I can get by with 3/8" sockets (not too much large socket work and I have some if needed). My old craftsman set was getting to be about 20 years old and I've been slowly misplacing sockets as the case has died. Now I can keep these as a bench set and the old one with some racks as my "portable" set. The racks I got during the sears 100% free giveaways from about 4 years ago when they had tons of tools basically free ("limit one per customer" but they weren't tracking repeat stops).

Picked up this one for $59.49 minus some SYWR points. Probably one of their better 1/2-inch sets.

I have a Craftsman club coupon I got in my e-mail that clearly says $10 off of a $25 tools purchase. When I apply the coupon to my $48.XX cart it comes up saying that it wasn't applied because it's a "Craftsman club $10 off of $50 tools purchase." what the heck?!

I'm looking at the 220pc set for $119, just need the right coupon to sweeten the deal.

Call and have them apply it.
If they won't, make them cancel it, but give them a fight first!

You know, I don't see anything lower than "Bonus Member" on the SYW site. The next step is "VIP Silver". Click on "Rewards Points" in the upper-right corner to see what I mean. The code won't work twice for the same account, BTW.

My bad, I was thinking "bonus member" was some extra designation they gave you if you signed up for the whole Visa card thing that was posted a few days ago. I forgot they call everyone a bonus member.

I'm very impressed with the quality of these tools. This set is marked industrial not professional.
I picked up the 3/8 ratchet and was surprised at its heft. Also noticed that it is 'stepped' more finely than other ratchets I've used in the past..

Definitely the best tools in my collection...
