No problems, I kept saying to myself for the past year of entire 2012 and even end of 2011 that Im going to buy myself a smartphone and a tablet since I dont own either one myself officially - and since 2011 I didnt buy either one until now lol. Try to snag an 8GB model on Amazon marketplace. I got one for $155 a few weeks ago and was caught in the same decision point as you.... seemed like a good solution. The one i got was practically new, still had original plastic cover on and stickers.

I dont know what about other people but one thing you gotta give to LG - their hardware is pretty impressive and their products last for long time - cant speak on their t.v line up - but I can for their mobile line up - like the LG Optimus 2X that I got for my dumb ass brother 2 years which he dropped 10 times from waist high and nothing happened to the front or back of the phone and the phone works great.
Back to the article - Although Tegra 3 and Tegra 4 are both Quad Core processors - it seems like the Tegra 4 will be the much better bang for your back since I read online in an article that Qualcomm uses more advanced 28nm process for its Snapdragon S4 which is a Daul Core processor, which competes with the Tegra 3 - only for me to add another point to LG's behalf that the LG Optimus L9 smartphone is a great pone since its rocking an S4 processor and the rest of the hardware is pretty impressive as well at $199 without a contract.
Looking forwards for this new 7.7 Nexus.

I could have bought the 32gig open box Nexus 7 from newegg the other day for $189 - I still skipped.
Im going to be waiting for this new 7.7 Nexus - not a big difference from $155 as u say - and u get a much better device and bigger device.

Very likley to be announced in May, and probably not released until later in June or July (according to most online sources). So at this point in time right now, the Nexus 7.7 shouldn't really factor into your decision making, unless you want to wait for long time. You can probably get a Nexus 7 now, updgrade to Nexus 7.7 later, and still sell the current one on eBay for $150 or so, since the Nexus 7.7 will probably cost more than the current one.

Keep in mind that the rumors that have said that the new Nexus 7 will be in fact 7.7 inches also say that its not gonna be for 199, but for 299

What's the deal with the Nexus 10? I see Nexus 7 on sale all the time, but I really want the Nexus 10

Can anyone recommend another Android tablet that is similar in size/specs to the Nexus 10? Or perhaps one that is coming out in the next few months? Thanks in advance.
