Just worked at office depot. Got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 for 125+tax. Not a bad deal. I don't think the cashier(maybe manager?) looked at the coupon for very long or bothered to read the fine print because i acted very nice and interested in buying the protection plan, although i passed since i was "picking it up for my dad."

Hopefully ill like it, having been a mac/iphone person for this long, but who's got the money for an iPad nowadays.

EDIT: Well after being told the Galaxy 2 7.0 was supposed to be able to connect to HDMI and getting it home to find out it does not i will be returning this. Hopefully i can exchange it for something that does and still be able to apply the coupon.

just got a surface PRO 64gb and the coupon worked.

People here were trying to get coupons scanned knowing fullwell it says "windows" tablets. If they were able to get them to scan the coupon and their systems took it would it still be dishonest? Deleting the "windows" part in my head would just be to skip the cashier denying even trying it, and just scanning the coupon. If their systems weren't built to take the coupon I wouldn't argue it.

Went to OD tonight, denied by the manager saying the same thing. I asked him again about their policy about the coupon,then the manager and the cashier read the coupon and said" windows" system Well~~I saved money now.

not this deal but one past slick deal about a safe w/ a manuf. coupon, this manager denied my coupon cause he said it would be "giving it away" I told him I still had to pay for some of it. He told me still he couldn't do it. So I said thats fine and walked away with no apology given, then while I was walking around I overheard them talking saying I was one of those people who will just turn around and sell it at a swap meet. I was so pissed I asked to speak to the store manager he explained he was the only one, so I asked for the corp number. He gave me a card with some other managers name on it, crossed it out and put his and some random number that didn't even work. Not my worth my troubles at this point, so I let it go.

Just returned from Office Depot, Houston, TX with a Nexus 7 for $125 plus tax. Great deal!

Going to try Office Max tonight...
