Resident Evil 6 (PS3 & Xbox 360) - $19.99 @ Amazon w/ free Prime shipping

Debating if i should buy this or wait for either a cheaper price or "gold edition".

Same here. I'd be all over it if it was GOTY or Gold.

I played the crap outta resi 5 but only played six for less than an hour. It has a completely different feel to it which I didn't really like, but if a gold edition gets down to 20$ in the future I'll definitely get that, but I can hold off on this one. Good deal if you were wanting it now though.

It's really bad. If you've never played Resident Evil 4, I'd recommend just getting it off of the PSN or XBL marketplace instead. It's about the same price as this, and a MUCH better game, maybe even the best of the series. Five was decent, but it just sucks that it had to follow the phenomenal game that four was.

I highly doubt this will be a Game of the Year. Maybe they should start releasing Fail of the Year games. haha

Four was epic and five wasn't bad. Six was a train wreck. What a shame too...

I personally think they should go back to the series' roots and do another mansion game. Not sure how it would fit into the convoluted story, but that's their problem. Capcom is trying to get too cute or gimmicky if you will, in the hopes to attract new gamers to the series. You can try to polish a turd all you want but in the end it's still a pos.

I actually liked the game play of 2, 3, and even Code Veronica the most. I kind of hate that there is no more Umbrella and nothing is the same anymore.

All of these recent games have completely defeated the purpose of the franchise. 6 was probably the worst they've ever made.

Looks like this is the one to watch for. Hope it hits $20 or less.

Same opinion here....Four was fantastic, one of the last great games of the era. But once the PS3 and 360 came out they just couldn't focus on a sequel long enough to make it as well as that one.
