However, I was about to order some when I read the reviews. The earlier reviews were very good, but the recent ones are terrible. Apparently they changed the socks completely to where they are no longer thick and no longer fit well.

Great deal. Just HATE the local KMart pickup. NO ONE is ever there.

Store pickup at Kmart & Sears is like paying extra.. You're going to pay in time & frustration.. At least that was my experience on several different orders to be picked up at the Kmart in So Cal on 3rd across of the Grove..

You'll have to wait about 30 minutes until the staff figures something out.. There's always a hiccup.. One time I ordered Brita filters from a SD posted here so they had tons of orders for the Brita filter 3 packs & the Brita pitchers (there was some rebate).. The manager as the name tag stated, pulled someone else's order when I had my order number, name & billing info all printed out for her. Then she tells me my payment info & cc doesn't match. I said that's because the name doesn't match either, that's someone else's order. She seems annoyed as if its my fault she pulled the wrong bag. More wait as they look through other orders. they got it right after the 3rd time. Maybe that's why they're on 3rd st j/k

Then I ordered some undershirts, I get email & text confirmation that its ready for pick up & they couldn't find the order. I said since its paid for, can I just pull one off the rack & you put the transaction as picked up? They said no. 20-30 mins later, they found that the employee responsible for pulling online orders had pulled it, stuck my order tag on it, scanned it, & left it in their break or back room, then went to lunch or left.. At least that's what an employee that found it told the manager before they handed it to me.

So good price, but store pick up might be problematic.. Or at a minimum, so cal SD'ers.. Avoid the 3rd & Fairfax, across of the Grove store...

I have been buying only Joe Boxer socks for a few years now. They have cushioned and non-cushioned socks. The non-cushioned ones are alright. I only buy the cushioned ones now.

I prefer the ankle height cushioned colored socks (it seems that the white ones are really thick, more than I like). I also have a good amount of the black/grey striped ones. I buy them a two or three times a year. No problems with fit ever. They will stretch and the tops don't fit snugly after a year or so but since they are so cheap I now throw them away and get new ones.
