LINK [microcenter.com] They have an open-box one at Tustin, CA for $548.96. 17.3 Inch Screen, i7-3610QM, 8 GB RAM, 750 GB HD, Bluetooth, Windows 7 They also have a Samsung for $599.99. LINK [microcenter.com] Basically the same specs as this, but 750 GB HD and Bluetooth. Maybe if you gave the manager crap, you could get them to knock off $75. |

The price of those upgrades just don't justify it. Not that the L855-S5378 you posted isn't a decent deal in it's own right... but if you can find this one on clearance somewhere, you could easily exceed those specs for $125. 1 TB 2.5 Inch HDs have been as low as $64. 16 GB of DDR3 Memory has been as low as $50. Bluetooth, you could add a dongle for $1 (Meritline). |

Got this yesterday for $499 less 10% (open-box like new) plus $75 coupon, total $375. Very nice laptop if available.

These laptop i7's don't cost that much and don't compare in performance. They are 2.4GHz (3.4 w/ boost). |
