The speed and overall tasks it can do will outperform mostly anything, but graphics of the hd4000 in this laptop is questionable. You can't get a i3 3rd gen or a i5 3rd gen for under 300$. I'm a little slow how do you take it back to windows 7? And I you agree this is a slickdeal?

8GB ( 2x4GB Samsung 30nm 1600MHz which only use 1.35V instead of 1.5V => extra battery juice)

the cpu alone worth it. basically you just pop in a SSD and it worth every penny. The hard drive you can format to use as an external with an enclosure (usb 3.0 ??)

About the windows 7, legal way is to buy OEM from like newegg.
Bootleg way is download clean ISO of windows, burn to disc or bootable USB, then activate with Windows Loader

Wrong, the clock speed and memory bandwidth of HD4000 is slightly different among i3,i5 and i7 (read intel specs sheets) . So HD4000 on an i7 will eat HD4000 on an i3 for breakfast and i5 for coffee break. Also, clock speed of i3,i5 cpus ending with U (for ultrabook) is only 350MHz vs 650MHz of a i3,i5 ending with M or QM

I was actually going to pass on this deal but if it can be made to boot up like that then I will go and grab one.

I already have a 128gb Samsung 830 SSD with a clean install of Windows 7 in my Dell laptop. Could I just put the SSD in this Toshiba and update the drivers ?
