NEVER ORDER ONLINE ROSES on VDAY!
Ordered my Flowers at Whole Foods - $24.99 for 24 GORGEOUS ROSES!! Picked them up yesterday with tissue paper and bow, delivered them myself to my girl. All well on the eastern front

Add Conroys to the list if you are in California...worst ever...I ordered online and they never gave me a call and I had to call them before closing day valentines day to ask about status...and the guy tells me "oh we don't deliver to that city".....THANKS for informing me!!!! What a bad valentines day, my mom and girlfriend got no flowers

So I guess my flowers delivered last night at 7pm PST which at that time we already left the house and already at dinner. I went to safeway to get roses (i remember I saw an add) and they had plenty left.
My GF didn't really care but I know her friends do! Gotta impress her friends... Anyway so when I got home of course theres NO FLOWERS. I asked my neighbor if she signed for it and nope and no one was home. So I called and they said the florist did infact deliver my item. I couldn't get a refund because it was delivered to a residential address and it made it in time. Im mad of course and will fight it later. Then I just thought about it today... if it was delivered someone got my flowers and message. It was: We are going to go dancing again, naked, in the dark. :/ |

All this will be repeated next year.
All you need to do is call your local florist... or actually leave the house and go to the florist and say; "Give me a nice, showy, bunch of flowers that will 'wow' my wife's co-workers" "How much do you wish to spend?" For those who do not want to wait over 30 minutes on hold, try calling their 1-800 Number then press 1 to place a new order. You can address ur concern there and they will transfer you to CS, and the wait is less than 3 minutes....
For those who are getting really poor customer service from FTD, why not just file for a credit card dispute with your CC company? |

I just called them earlier today, yes was on hold during lunch time for about 30 minutes, but the refund was painless. Took 2 minutes to get the email.. now the waiting game begins for my CC

UPDATE: Sent a complaint on Facebook and got a call an hour later. I'm getting my money back and they're sending a free arrangement on Tuesday. |

Thank you for that. When the girl called me from FTD she insisted that there was no 5pm guarantee to a business... and that the best they could do is offer me a $25 gift certificate for a future order.
I guess I can accept that... but it's pretty sh*tty... the point of having flowers delivered for Valentine's Day is for your girl to GET the flowers ON Valentine's Day! (like that even needs to be said!) Arguing that point with a customer service rep is preposterous. The rep kept telling me that they don't guarantee ANY delivery time... that flowers could be delivered as late as 9pm. WOW... keep that in mind the next time you want to order flowers gents... so for that birthday, anniversary, WHATEVER... FTD's policy is that your girl may not get her flowers on THAT work day! Their motto should be, "FTD, when it absolutely, positively, doesn't matter if the flowers show up"... |
