i just got a call from my step-mom and she said she got two deliveries of the same order, with the same card and two different order numbers on the box. so far I only have one charge on my card, so I'll need to keep an eye on that...
I used the "Friends and Family" discount to buy flowers for a family member on Valentine's Day. The flowers were never delivered. I called customer service on Friday, they were unsuccessful in contacting the florist and said they would contact me once they did. Never heard from them again. I emailed on Tuesday, they didn't return the email despite saying they respond within 24 hours. I called again today and once again was put on hold so that they can contact the florist. They won't give me contact details for the florist. I've spent over an hour on the phone with customer service. I haven't had 1) an apology 2) a refund 3) an explanation 4) any follow-up 5) anything to satisfy their " The FTD 'Good As Gold' 7 Day Satisfaction Guarantee." I did receive an offer of a $10 coupon off my next delivery when I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. This is seriously the worst customer service I have ever experienced with a large merchant.
I'm filing dispute with my credit card company and letting it go. But let's make sure to avoid this company in the future.

Bought my first order from them and nothing was delviered. No contact made. Couldn't speak to anyone when I called and sat on hold. They called once on Sunday morning and hung up when I picked up. Then emailed me saying I couldn't be reached by phone. Finally called again today and they offered to refund me half of my money. Half of my money when they did nothing. Never attempted a delviery. Never called to reschedule. Nothing.
I filled a complaint with the BBB and disputed the charges.
FTD literally steals half your money before sending your order to the florist. It's just as easy to call your local florist OR use a marketplace service like www.bloomnation.com. Local florists across the country list the actual images they are selling and you can shop with any florist on there directly within one site.
They said I had a $25 gift certificate... then I figure what the hell I'll order again just to use the certificate... I sign on to FTD and nothing. Says I never made an order... I email customer service and I get this:
"Please be informed that we are processing $20 coupon for future order. You will able to receive that within 6 - 8 weeks."
What an MF'ing joke... FTD I will NEVER use you again... NEVER. I'm going to try another posters advice and call a local florist and see how it turns out. If all goes well... well... I'll be happy to give the actual florist more $$ and know that things will go as planned.
