The snack size comes with 10 piece. I highly suggest you order them with the other tartar sauce that they use on the Filet-o-Fish because the ones in the little containers seem to be liquidy and gross due to the fact that it's not refrigerated.
They're actually not too bad. The fish is light and flakey and the outside tastes like catfish breading. I also suggest you ask to get them fresh if you don't mind the wait.
You should research the subject before you give a dumb opinion....
The fish bites are made of pollock, a fish that is located in Alaska. They are caught in the open ocean(bering sea) with a method that produces a ton of by-catch. By-catch is the equivalent of using a grenade in the woods to kill a deer. Sure, you kill the deer, but you also killed 5 squirrels and a few birds.
So anyways, in Alaska a lot of fishermen (commercial and subsistence) are unhappy that the fish is labeled as safe to harvest when they're supposedly doing damage to the King Salmon population.
Also, his whole message on the japanese nuclear accident is BS. Absolutely nothing wrong with Alaskan fish, they are monitored up here and anyone who has hazmat experience knows "the solution to pollution is dilution" - simply referring to the fact there's too much ocean to get concentrated levels of radiation to Alaska. But yes, off the exact coast of Japan I think I've read articles saying there are higher levels of radiation. I wouldn't worry.
tl:dr Fish are Alaskan, the process in which they are caught may have an effect on king salmon fisheries, which isn't good for environment. There is absolutely no risk of radiation poisoning, Alaska and Bering Sea are pretty damn far away from Japan (about 2k miles) Eating McDonalds still isn't healthy even if it's Alaskan fish
Thanks for explaining but I did not say I though McDonalds fish was salmon or that radiation was in the fish in Alaska. I am sorry you misunderstood my analogy. I meant there is still high radiation in the waters near China, not Alaska and that some packages say Alaskan Salmon although they are "harvested in China". If you read what I wrote again, you will see I was just comparing two similar things.
While we are on the subject, I am trying to buy wild caught salmon but I have to order online and shipping to the east coast is really high, which is understandable. If you have any recommendation of a fishery is AK has reasonable shipping, please let me know.
I would procrastinate... but I keep putting it off.
Wouldn't matter, they all sing from the same songbook!
As if anyone is getting out of this life, alive!!
Greatest Olympian athlete in World History, made a practice of eating "fast-food".
Could care less what food people choose to eat.
Food Nazi's are as bad as religious zealots!! Their religion is to convert everyone to their way of thinking!!
There's nothing wrong with food zealots, nor religious zealots for that matter. Only the people who can't stand them! The people who can't stand them are the true wackos because even though they clearly have choice, they feel and voice it like it's already robbed from them. Where do they get this?
For instance, food nazi's want to inform you, not to convert you. Because in the end it's your choice. There's nothing wrong with people saying hey in this fish they put xxx chemicals, etc.
It's like if you went to home depot and bought a piece of wood but someone mentions to the buyer that actually they should go to Lowe's and buy real wood instead of HD's half wood half plastic construction. This is informing/suggesting. Perhaps in a skewed way it may seem like they are trying to "convert" the HD shopper, but at the end of the day it's only an informing/suggestion because the shopper has the clear choice to choose.
If you feel something is off wack wouldn't your first instinct to be to warn your neighbors and family?? This is natural human behavior. Not saying the off wack is always necessarily true but just because a fellow human goes off natural instinct, you shouldn't view them as attackers aka evil people.

Apples and rocks.
I am speaking to the issue where govt. steps in and outlaws choices or makes it an onerous/costly burden to be enterprising. This is why the "nazi" reference is employed!
I am an originalist. I believe that that is not the role of the government, to restrict the use of products based are their ideologies!
Make fast food and health food and let the people decide. If enough people disdain fast food, the providers will necessarily dry up and go away.
Make incandescent bulbs AND cfl's and let the people decide.
