I just bought 1. The general reviews seem good (especially for the low end price range) for the 2012 LG plasma models but not so good before then. So if you are checking reviews make sure they are not too old. If you have a lot of money go with Panasonic, but LG has apparently caught up.
I just finished online purchase too... Expected delivery to CA on March 1st but hope will get faster. I didn't find anything cheaper for $699 AR just plasma, free shipping, no tax for CA. Perfect price for me, no need smart or 3D (waisting money).
Anyone can leave a feedback? Deal is great but LG + plasma, how they are?!
I got mine hooked up on Friday after I bought it at my local store. I did a quick picture calibration and then watched a couple streaming things on netflix... didn't have any blu-ray movies handy (haven't set up my BR player since I moved a few months back).
Motion is great on it, I really like the menus- they are easy to use. Remote is nice.
I was a bit miffed that no local stores had both an LG and a Panasonic plasma tv. Or an LG and a samsung. The three of those were the ones I was considering. I wanted 60", and this is the one that went on sale first.
FWIW, the panasonic and samsung tv's at this price point (normally $1000) looked about the same in the store as my new LG looks at home.
I'm not at all dissatisfied with the TV. But I use mine just for movies and video games. No cable/satellite.
