UPS delivers "next day" on Saturdays IIRC as they do not normally do residential delivery on Saturdays.

Quick followup :

called and waited 5 min to talk to a nice rep, she told me no worries, they fixed up all those "missing orders"and they are shipping out today and will come to me tmr. Amex is simply amazing, lol.

So if you have the same issue (no confirmation/ no shipping email),

no worries,
you'll get these just tmr (Sat) or Mon (well it's a holiday) or Tue :-) for sure

best part: you dont have to call... (took me about 8 min...)

Wow, looks like AMEX sent me a $25 gift card for free because I tweeted to @AskAmex while the deal was going on that I had issues with my card not being able to process.
