Make sure you use SOAPY WATER with minimal bubbles to apply these screen protectors!
What I did was get a plate and put soap water it in and dipped the screen protector in. Then lifted it over the plate to let the excess run off and then placed it on the device and carefully slide it around to match up camera holes/sides. If you mess up simply re-dip it in the plate and try again. Once everything is matched you and you're ok with the positioning, start squeegee-ing from the middle outwards. Most of the bubbles and whatever is trapped under will go away in a day or so. Also when squeegee-ing the water out from under the protector, try not to press to hard as it will leave marks and the protector isn't very healing compared to other brands Hope that helps! |

I purchase from them before and just like everyone said.
the quality/material of the screen protector is sucky and they messed up my order also. but at least they are quick to respond to any issues. the actual material is kinda "soft" and "mushy" and kinda distort the image alittle. not hard and firm like all the other screen protector you see. I wouldn't put these on a phone with a nice display it kinda ruin the clarity alittle. and on top of that the material is not "smooth" . and the worst part is it scratches easily as it is not hard. I would not pay full price for it. but the price is about right at 70% off. you are not getting a super deal just "u get what u pay for" BTW: you dont really need soap and water to apply if you are careful (at lease for phone size screens) but it is still more pita to apply these screen protector material than most other common firmer material. problem with these material is once air bubble is in. you really can't use a credit card to push it out like other protectors because this is kinda mushy material. it takes about a week for the screen protector to "settle" in as oppose to about a day of other ones. IMHO I won't put this on my phone as it is not as clear and provide less protection as others. Only saving grace is the price... =================================
My days as a sales person @ bestbuy Customer: This stupid phone I bought last week won't work right Me: So it's the phone thats stupid and not you right? Customer: I'm looking for an easy way to access my media files with my laptop when I'm in the yard. Me: Sports Authority is having a sale on walking shoes. |

I used the soapy water method suggested by the company site both times but was meticulous the second time around. You have to make sure you wipe down the screen completely or you might get some dust particles on it. you might even have your best friend with you to wipe it down before you put on the soapy water soaked screen protector. just my suggestion, since I have a dust particle stuck in mine forever...or until I want to take it off. I literally have installed HUNDREDS of these wet install screen protectors. Other brands I've tried include Skinomi, Best Skins Ever and now Xtremeguard. I do like Invisible Shield's HD line, those are what are on MY gadgets (iPad and EVO LTE). But those are expensive, and frankly most people lack the skill or patience to do a proper wet install, and screw them up. That's a lot of wasted money. I like to fix and resell electronics, and an installed screen protector adds A LOT to the value of the item. It also hides screen scratches! Well I'm not paying for Invisible Shields, but Xtremeguard is an awesome price point so that for $1.50--$2.50, sometimes up to $5.00 I have one shipped, way less than even the other IS knockoffs. Installed properly, I don't see a lot of difference between Xtremeguard and the other brands. I have a "professional" squeegee" (that makes a huge difference), and a spritz bottle I got from Skinomi. I fill this with soap and water. Just using what comes in the Xtremeguard pack is DOABLE but would be more difficult. Even just buy a spare spritz bottle and squegee kit off eBay that come from Invisible Shield, if you don't have one that you saved. Like this, and I re-use the bottle. I prefer a fine mist: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zagg-Invi...3a6a8680 My big problem with Xtremeguard is their mistakes. I get packages with the wrong screen protector and missing screen protectors. They are nice about it and fix it, but geez... the rate is atrocious. For the savings I will continue to put up with the inconvenience, however. Oh, and as far as tips go from a "pro" .... I do my applications in the bathroom after a shower. That way there is enough humidity to draw the dust out of the air. There is always so damn much of it and you just don't realize until you go to apply one of these! Keep your fingers WET, and spray the hell out of the screen protector. If it doesn't slide around once applied, it's not wet enough. Of course no water near the speakers, especially. Nice, light strokes to tease out the air bubbles, then harder ones to finish off. 90% of the work is done in getting the shield set down properly lined up the first time with no dust under it. If it's set well, your job is easy. I must admit I don't wait 24 hours. I barely wait 24 minutes. But I also don't use a case for several days after. I do use a hair dryer, set on LOW. Be patient. You may think you botched it but as long as it's aligned well and the major air bubbles are pushed out, the haziness and minor bubbles WILL magically dissipate over the next 24 hours. That's the beauty of 3M's engineering. They have truly developed a product with brilliant properties that are suited so well to application to and protection of consumer devices. Got 2 fully body protectors. One for Note II and one SGSIII for $4.60. This is actually a great product. Been using this brand since SGS 1. My method: Remove battery first. I run the shower on hot in my small bedroom bathroom for about 5 to 10 minutes with the door shut. The steam gets the dust out of the air. Then I use glass cleaner to apply (dries faster). It will still take a little while for it to stop looking foggy but I feel the glass cleaner reduces drying time. You can't even tell it's on until you look at the edges. These tend to last a long time if applied correctly and when it comes time to sell you just peel it off and it looks like new!

But ditto, that's my trick too with the shower. Just wanted to clarify in case any n00bs get the wrong idea. I DO know someone who Windexed her TV, wrecked it.
