I clarified. You can use rubbing alcohol as long as it's very dilute, if that's how you are using it. I re-read what you wrote and that seems to be what you are doing; sorry initially I pictured you wiping it down with the stuff, it's late lol sorry - in that scenario yes it would be damaging. Rubbing alcohol is a great cleaner and I too use it on my expensive gadgets, very dilute, with a Q-tip. I'm a cheap SDer so of course I love that it costs under a dollar for a big bottle.

The key on the full bodies is to baby-sit the rounded corners. I don't know how rounded the corners are on the NEW iPod as I've only drooled over my friend's, but as the screen protector dries, I find over the next day that I have to keep pressing down on the edges. They will stick if done right though. My 3rd Gen had a full body I applied in 2010, and when I sold it 2 months ago (sniff) she looked as new as they day I bought her because of the full body. The corners DID have some lint they picked up and peeled a bit, and it was harder to find a case that worked (go with a soft case, a hard one could get stuck lol, it happened!), but it was well worth the expense of the Zagg, as the pretty, shiny metal back scratches if you even LOOK at it the wrong way. I buy used iPods to fix up and re-purpose and a lot of them are just ugly they are scuffed up so much.

I got this on my LG L9 2 weeks ago, I got 5 screen protector for $7.50 shipped.

I bought 1 for At&t GSII, 2 for Lumia 920 and 2 for my LG l9 (1 extra). I installed it with the water and soap and went very smoothly. both Nokia lumia 920 installation are easy looks really great after and same with GSII. my LG L9 is great too but a very tiny dust on the side edge, i didnt notice it when it was wet..so small and i can deal with it so i didnt redo it.

I used a blower to dry it fast, i guess it works my sister and aunt Lumia 920 is up and running in less than an hour.

Im very satisfied with xtremeguard, its cheap and it works!

I actually use glass cleaner for most capacitive screen phones and tablets. As long as it's actual glass, it's safe. I should have made that clear. These high end phones (ie: Galaxy S series and iPhone's) use actual glass capacitive digitizers which are on top of the LCD. You don't make actual contact with the LCD itself. Been doing it in my shop for years now for cleaning them. It is definitely not recommended for direct LCD contact or most TV's and laptops and some plastics and paint finishes. For noobs I recommend sticking to soap/shampoo method...

I got their iphone 4s screen protector during the last promo and it's complete garbage. Not worth the $1.5 I ended up paying.

Anyone know how these compare to skinomi for the Nexus 7? I got the skinomi one but wasn't sure if I should order these also in case they're better.

Hows the glare out in the sun light with these protectors? I noticed they don't say anything about anti glare.

I did use the full-body protectors for my 2 Nexus 4s, and admit it was my first time using their products. The price, and the reviews where people were swearing on it made me go for Xtremeguard. I followed the installation instructions from their web-site to the "T", but overall I am not too pleased with the finished look. Maybe it's me - not doing it right.

One quick tip for the novice users would be to NOT use the squeege that they provide. Instead use some flexible card (non-paper / non-cardboard). If you use a cardboard card, it will get mushy after some use, and may leave some residue.

About the back protector - I had to re-apply when the first time didn't look good. When I pulled it off, I saw some black stuff stuck to it. Question to those who have used it - is it peeling off the paint from my phone? And after re-applying, it did not give a smooth look. Hence my initial comment about the finish.

I wouldn't trust in any liquid solution or soapy water method to apply these screen guards as they will can get into your phone and mess it up. As I have seen tons of customers coming to my store.
