I love AMEX, but I do HATE Twitter!

People are too lazy even for free stuff. Yes, Twitter is a pain but it is part of the game you have to go through to get the freebies. Either do or don't but whining about it is pointless, because no one is forcing anyone to do anything.

Alright deal but nothing big deal. Price Kindle at $100 and the SD'ers will be going bonkers and soiling their panties.

Can't sync because I use a P.O. Box as my billing address. It's safer, Amex is ok with it, and knows my "home" address by order history. However to sync with twitter, you cannot use your billing address if it happens to be your P.O. Box; and if you go to change your billing address to your "home" address you lose all the protection that a P.O. Box provides from theft etc.

Check with who provides your PO Box, many have an address and allow UNIT or SUITE number that gets the stuff to the right place.

EDIT: USPS offers this, it's called Street Addressing.

I only use that POS for free cash amex deals. Got 3 accounts and I only use them in incognito mode so that they don't leave cookies for tracking and whatnot.

I also thought Twitter sucked, but then I started using it. It's not bad really. First, you don't have to write anything. Second, if you don't follow anyone and you don't tweet, then nothing happens, it's not a magical 'the sucks machine'. So, just use it to follow something or someone you're interested in. For example, I like Paradox strategy games, so I follow them. Usually they tweet something that interests me (updates on games, new game announcements, etc). It's really not that bad at all.

However now, the deal seems dead, but since you already synced it, maybe it will still work.

After you sync it, tweet "#BuyAmexGiftCard25" and wait for their response that tells you to tweet something else, which is "#ConfirmAmexGiftCard25" in order for you to get your deal. If you get an email confirmation, then you are all set!
